How A TAPA Membership Will Make You a More Effective Security Professional:

  • Regular networking opportunities with over 230 technology industry security leaders, 110 member-companies—and that’s just TAPA Americas!  2-3 times more through TAPA Asia and TAPA EMEA networking.

Qualifications for Membership
All applications are reviewed by the TAPA Membership Committee and formally presented to the member body for approval at quarterly meetings.

Full membership: (1)Regular full time employee of a high-tech company with significant
responsibility for security related issues, (2) insurance industry employees involved in insuring high-tech products.

Associate membership: As approved by the TAPA Membership Committee. Examples to include: (1) Representative of an industry supporting the security, production, transportation, or storage of high-tech products; (2) Local, State or Federal Law Enforcement representative; (3) Consultant working in support of the high-tech industry, (4) Student in related field

NEW Members ONLY:

TAPA Americas has implemented a “Prorated” concept for new members/companies joining TAPA.  New members joining mid-year will pay prorated dues for the remaining months of the year (after membership application-approval).  I.e. If a new member is approved in May, they would only pay Corporate: $1050 (7 months remaining X $150/month) or Individual: $350 (7 X $50).  All existing members (that are “renewing” membership or paying for the first time) will need to pay the entire year, $1800 or $600, no matter when they pay.  Before paying dues (via Pay-Pal or Check), please contact the TAPA Treasurer at treasurer@tapaonline.org to request/confirm the prorated amount and an amended invoice.
