The following are the slate of nominees for the 2022 – 2024 Board of Directors for TAPA Americas. (In order by last name.)


Bill Boehning CPP, MSCJ
Corporate Director of Security
Prime Inc.

Bill manages all security operations for Prime Inc. along with ensuring compliance in C-TPAT, PIP, and TAPA certifications. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a master’s degree in criminal justice from Bethel University. Bill started a career in law enforcement where he had the opportunity to serve on the SWAT team, assigned to the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Group and the St. Louis Major Case Squad. Bill received his Certified Protection Professional status from the American Society of Industrial Security. He has been with Prime since 2011 as the Director of Corporate Security.

Bill has 10 years of experience within the transportation field and being the largest carrier to adopt TAPA standards.


Zak Bowyer
Director, Sales Quality Operations
TQL - Total Quality Logistics

Zak Bowyer is the Director of Sales Quality at Total Quality Logistics.  He joined TQL in sales and has since served the organization in developing training, recruiting, compliance, and operations. He has over 17 years of experience in transportation and logistics and has lead cargo security and recovery operations at TQL for the past 6 years.  TQL’s Sales Quality division is responsible for all transportation risk management, security, fraud, theft investigation and recovery, as well as internal and external compliance management.   Zak and his team are active CargoNet and TAPA members and are also members of several regional cargo security councils.


Scott Cornell

Travelers

Scott Cornell, 2nd Vice President, Travelers Inland Marine has been conducting investigations for 25-years specializing in internal theft, Cargo investigations, embezzlement, and corporate investigations. He has spent the last 14-years with Travelers insurance and is currently overseeing the Inland Marine Transportation division. Scott is a frequent speaker, instructor and is a nationally recognized expert in the cargo theft field.

Scott is currently serving as the Vice Chair for TAPA Americas, the lead on standards for freight forwards, and lead of the marketing committee. Previously, Scott was Secretary for the organization for 2 years.


Scott M Sullivan, CPP, PCI
Investigations Manager - Supply Chain
The TJX Companies

Scott Sullivan, CPP, PCI, Investigations Manager, TJX Co Inc. Scott has over 29-years within distribution and supply chain security. His experiences include managing and/or opening Cross Dock Facilities, managing Distribution Centers, supporting E-commerce fulfillment center, as well as overseeing the C-TPAT program. Scott’s successes include development of Physical Security and Personnel Security Policy and Procedures, launching of Best Practice Integrated Security Systems, development of Investigation Training Manual, development, and implementation of Best Practice Trailer Security Seal Program.

Scott is currently serving as a Regional Vice President for ASIS International supporting 3 Chapters, he is the Chairman of the ASIS International Supply Chain & Transportation Security Community with nearly 400 members, as well as a Certified Auditor and Trainer for Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA).


John Tabor
SVP Supply Chain
NRS, Inc.

John is Senior Vice President, National Retail Systems, Inc., and a 25-year veteran of both the retail and transportation industries. He serves on numerous Boards of Directors. Tabor was a former Board member of TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association), the ICSC (International Cargo Security Council), and the acting chair of TAPA’s Trucking Security Requirement (TSR) work group as the standard was being developed. John was a charter member of the Loss Prevention Foundation and helped coauthor their Supply Chain Module.


Nathaniel White
Manager, Product Security
Sanofi

Nate has been in the supply chain security field over 9 years.  Specializing in the TSA Certified Cargo Screening program, he also is experienced in audits, case management system design and administration, and CTPAT.  He has been an active member in TAPA for the past 8 years, currently serving as Treasurer on the Executive board, and Co-chair of the Education and Standards committees, as a member on the Membership committee and as a Trainer.  He is currently Manager, Product Security with Sanofi.

Serving in my position on the TAPA board the past two years has been very rewarding.  As treasurer I am happy to report that we are in a solid financial position as an organization.  In my role as co-chair of the education committee we have presented many great webinars and are working on additional projects that we are looking to launch for the benefit of the membership.  I am proud to be a part of the Cyber Security Standards team and the launch process and look forward to continuing work on additional standard initiatives.
