Biography:
Fabio has over 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Security. He currently works at HP Inc. Before HP, he also worked in several Security leadership positions in companies such as Motorola, DHL, and Dupont, among others. Besides his duties at HP Inc., Fabio assists the High-Tech sector as Director of Loss Prevention for ABINEE (Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association), representing the Industry before the Brazilian Government and working as Secretary of OSAC Sao Paulo Chapter and as a Member to TAPA EMEA (Iberian Working Group). Fabio has also been named Security Advisor for the Sao Paulo Estate Secretary of Security and the Ministry of Justice for cargo theft subject.

Fabio's expertise encompasses Operations Security, Cyber Security, Investigations, Loss Prevention, Transportation Risk Management, Executive Protection, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Compliance, and Counterfeit.

Biography:
I have been in the Supply Chain for 20-plus years. As I continue my Profession, I have learned that we can continue learning or coaching others. I take pride in my current role, having the opportunity to grow with team members in our organization.

Along my journey, I have had an excellent opportunity to work with Mentors who have given me the knowledge to become who I am today. My ability to learn operations, develop teams, and open new facilities. Managing everything within the organization and having the ability to implement the necessary Certifications as required. That gives me a sense of relief and self-satisfaction with my accomplishments.

Biography:
Born in Miami, FL, he graduated from Florida State University and served five years in the US Army. Alejandro lived in China for 11 years, where he earned his master’s degree in international relations, worked for Apple in supply chain security, and opened his own company, Paradox Security Group, where he supported supply chain security for other Big Tech companies. Alejandro now works for Meta Platforms in California, where he led the supply chain security program and now focuses on product security risk management.

When I owned Paradox Security Group in China, I was motivated to bring TAPA standards and training to young professionals looking to add skills and knowledge. I want to see people combine and consolidate knowledge, agree on the best path forward, and align on best practices, and I have the organizational skills and energy to see the work through. My experience in supply chain security helps me understand and see the full global supply chain and how our efforts can relate to all regions. As a leader, I want to see this organization continue to be the front-runner in its field and cover any gaps in our coverage. I see myself as a middle point between the more experienced generations of professionals and the young professionals starting their careers. I see myself as a unique voice with a perspective that will help TAPA engage the security and logistics communities. I am social and outgoing, as well as disciplined (from my previous experience in military intelligence) and capable of communicating the clear message of the TAPA mission to our members and bringing in new, prospective members and partners.


Bill Boehning

Biography:
Received his bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a master’s degree from Bethel University in Criminal Science. Upon graduation, I started a career in law enforcement, serving on the SWAT team and assigned to the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Group and St. Louis Major Case Squad. He received his Certified Protection Professional status from the American Society of Industrial Security. Bill has been with Prime since 2011 as the Director of Corporate Security. Duties include all CTPAT, PIP, and TAPA compliance and certifications. Oversees all physical properties, equipment, and personnel.

Having a background in the public and private sectors has given me a clear understanding of what must exist and work together to achieve a positive outcome. Having close to 40 years of experience, with the last 12 in the transportation side of the industry, allows me to have first-hand knowledge of the emerging threats to the industry. From securely transporting freight to finding safe and secure parking, issues which I deal with daily. Prime Inc. obtained and retained TAPA level 2 TSR certification, being the most extensive fleet with over 10,000 trailers and 6,000 tractors. The TAPA standards have allowed Prime to expand its customer base and provided us with feedback on the needs and concerns of our shippers.

Biography:

Zak Bowyer joined Total Quality Logistics (TQL) in 2004 and currently serves as Vice President of Sales Support Operations, overseeing all transportation risk management, security, fraud, theft investigation, and recovery, as well as internal and external compliance management. Previously, Zak has held a variety of management roles at TQL relating to developing training, recruiting, compliance, and operations.

Zak serves on the Board of Directors of the Transported Asset Protection Association and is an active CargoNet member and member of several regional cargo security councils. Under Zak’s leadership, TQL has been named CargoNet Best in Cargo Security four times and has received Responsible Care Partner of the Year from the American Chemistry Council five times.

Zak has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Organizational, Interpersonal, and Rhetorical Communication from the University of Cincinnati.


Scott Cornell

Biography:
Scott Cornell, National Practice Leader Transportation and Crime & Theft Specialist, Travelers Inland Marine, has been in the insurance industry for 20 years with Travelers and is currently leading the Cargo/Transportation division. Prior to his current role, he conducted investigations for 25 years, specializing in cargo theft and transportation, internal theft, embezzlement, and corporate investigations. Scott helped create a fully dedicated cargo theft unit for Travelers, known as SIG (Special Investigations Group), and is a co-inventor of multiple patented processes for methods and systems for providing customized risk mitigation and recovery to an insurance customer. He and the SIG team regularly partner with law enforcement and cargo task forces nationwide.

Scott currently serves as the Vice Chairman of TAPA (Transportation Asset Protection Association). Scott has been an instructor and speaker regarding cargo theft and prevention at numerous engagements, including ATA, IASIU, Miami Dade PD Cargo, Midwest Cargo Summit, Texas Cargo Summit, TIDA, TCA, TLC, TIA, and the National Cargo Theft Law Enforcement Summit.  Scott is also a nationally recognized cargo theft expert and has appeared in CBS MoneyWatch, Vice TV, NBC, News Now, Yahoo Finance, MSNBC, CNBC, and the New York Post.

Scott has been a member of TAPA Americas for 14 years, currently serving as Vice Chair of TAPA Americas, and previously as TAPA Secretary. He serves as an Officer, Lead of the Freight Broker Standards Committee, Marketing Committee, and Trainer for TAPA TSR and FSR Standards.

Biography:
I began my loss prevention career 25 years ago, catching shoplifters. Shortly thereafter, I fell in love with internal investigations. Most of my career has been in the field, doing audits, investigations, and training. In 2016, I came to the Finish Line corporate office from the field and began my experience for the last 7 years in bringing DCs up to OSHA and, as much as possible, CTPAT certification. 

During this time, my team has been able to achieve standards and safety goals below OSHA expectations, reduce shrink to the lowest levels, develop partnerships with our carriers, and vet out 3PLS, one of which resulted in a million-dollar investigation. In 2018, Finish Line was acquired by JD Sports. This merger opened opportunities for international travel and partnerships.

Biography:
David is a dynamic and innovative security leader with 30+ years of military police, law enforcement, and corporate security experience including management, supervisory, and individual contributor experience. A recognized SME in Risk Management, Investigations, Physical Security, and Threat Assessment with a specific focus on Cargo Theft, Transportation, and Supply Chain Security.

I feel I’m qualified for the TAPA Board of Directors based on my 30+years of experience in public law enforcement and private security. Specifically, 21+years of Cargo Theft, Supply Chain and Transportation security experience. I have managed global and regional cargo supply chain security programs for Fortune 500 companies (FedEx, Nike, Asurion, etc.), and have led investigations resulting in recovery of product with values in excess of $1million USD. I currently hold a CPP (Certified Protection Professional) from ASIS. I’m a graduate of Wicklander Zulawski Interview and Interrogation Techniques, John E. Reid Associates Interview and Interrogation Techniques and DHS Office of Domestic Preparedness Terrorism Awareness for Law Enforcement. As a longtime member of TAPA, I have successfully completed TSR and FSR standards training and proudly previously served on the TAPA Board of Directors, as a member at Large 2019 to 2021. I have extensive board experience as a past Chairperson of the Mid-South Cargo Security Council 2018 to 2020 and the Memphis Chapter of ASIS 2016-2018.

Biography:
The experience I have garnered during my last 12 years in the logistics industry will greatly serve the TAPA America’s Board of Directors and provide a valuable point of view. Over this timeframe, I transitioned from the sales to the operations side of the business, which has allowed me to develop a unique skillset for communicating complex systems and concepts in easily digestible terms.

I am a co-founder, Managing Partner & COO at Echelon Transportation LLC where we specialize in providing temperature-controlled transportation services for the life science industry. It’s been a long road coming having started my career with a small freight brokerage, Circle 8 Logistics, helping them grow from 15MM to 100MM in sales by the time I left as Director of Sales. From there, I cut my teeth with cross-border shipping, helping Traffix open their first US Office and expand their footprint across North America. Since founding Echelon in 2020, I have successfully guided the company through the rigors of becoming a TSA approved Independent Air Carrier (IAC), allowing us to better service both time and temperature-sensitive air cargo for our clients. In addition to maintaining our IAC status, I serve as our TSA Security Coordinator responsible for communicating with local TSA office, for maintaining accurate and up-to-date driver STA records, and to support our employees in understanding their role ensuring safety and security of transporting and transferring air cargo.

Biography:
I have been President for almost two years at Eagle. Previously, I served as General Manager, handling all aspects of HR, Compliance, AR/AP, and sales/marketing. Before Eagle, I was an investment analyst at a local bank. I graduated with a criminal justice degree from Stonehill College and an MBA from Suffolk University. My current role is primarily focused on sales growth and development, compliance and security for our fleet and the facility.

Paragraph describing your qualifications: I am a second-generation business owner for a local trucking and warehousing facility in Chelsea, Massachusetts. I am currently pivoting our company from a pickup and delivery company to a cold storage and transport provider. In many cases, our customers move, high value pharmaceutical based products and it is our responsibility to provide trucking and security to deliver properly. We have a strong relationship with local TSA and FBI, we perform annual and recurrent security training for all employees and our facility is geared to perform export and import air/ocean freight. To be considered for a board position would be a great honor and I look forward to continuing our partnership with TAPA and utilize all trainings.


Scott M Sullivan, CPP, PCI

Biography:
Scott has excelled in numerous roles within the Distribution and Supply Chain at TJX over the last 32 years. His experiences include managing and/or opening three cross-dock facilities, managing two Distribution Centers, supporting an E-commerce fulfillment center, leading a team of investigators, overseeing the C-TPAT program, and developing a new team to support all transportation loss prevention business.

His successes include the development of Physical Security and Personnel Security Policy and Procedures, the launching of Best Practice Integrated Security Systems, the development of the Investigation Training Manual, the development and implementation of the Best Practice Trailer Security Program, and much more. Scott is currently serving as the ASIS International Assistant Regional Vice President (ARVP) covering three chapters in North Carolina with 300 plus members, on the Board of Directors with Transport Asset Protection Association – (TAPA Americas), as well as a Certified Auditor and Lead Trainer for Transport Asset Protection Association – (TAPA Americas).

He has a master’s degree in public administration and has obtained professional certifications of Certified Protection Professional and Professional Certified Investigator from ASIS International.

Scott is active in the community and has participated in Kidney Foundation Fundraiser, Walks for Susan G Komen, Alzheimer’s, and previously served as Chairman of TGIF Golf.

Scott has been a member of TAPA Americas for 10 years, currently serving on the Board of Directors of TAPA Americas, and Chair of the Training Committee. Scott also serves on the Self-Certification Committee and Standards Committee. Scott is a member of ASIS International: Previous Chapter Chair; Current Chapter ARVP; Previous Council/ Community Chair for Supply Chain and Transportation.

Nathaniel has been in the supply chain security field for more than 10 years. His responsibilities include the TSA Certified Cargo Screening program, the CTPAT program, audits, live shipment monitoring, and case management system design and administration. He has been an active member of TAPA for the past 9 years, currently serving as the Secretary of the Board of Directors.  Nate is the Lead of the Education Committee, Co-Lead of the Standards Committee, and Training Committee, and serves on the Self-Certification Committee.

Nate is also an active member of the Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC).
