"Protecting Your Supply Chain & Operations from Digital Threats"

Tuesday, September 28, 2021
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT

As the digital landscape becomes bigger and more fractured than ever before, allowing information – verified or not – to flow freely and widely, narratives that grow and spread online are having significant, real-world impacts. From burning cell towers to targeted ransomware attacks, organizations can no longer ignore threats stemming from narratives and the information environment at large. In this hour-long session, you’ll learn why the digital landscape is changing, how to understand this new narrative attack surface, and ways you can leverage enhanced situational awareness from open source data, before, during, and after an event to better protect your organization.

You will have a better understanding of the following objectives:

  1. How the online landscape is rapidly changing and why having complete situational awareness of the narrative attack surface surrounding your organization is critical to rapidly detecting, analyzing, and acting on threats
  2. Understanding threat actors and techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) most commonly seen in narrative intelligence to validate information before acting on it
  3. What to do before, during, and after an event impacts your operations, applying widely used public sector techniques to TAPA’s cargo theft use case
