In May of 2025, TAPA AMERICAS launched a Law Enforcement Grant Program support law enforcement agencies through education and training, thereby enhancing their ability to prevent and reduce cargo theft.

Detailed criteria for law enforcement agency applicants, including the necessity for alignment with the program's objectives.

• Departments & divisions that investigate, analyze, and conduct training in the area of cargo theft and cargo incidents.

Research Grant Program

The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Americas is dedicated to minimizing cargo losses throughout the global supply chain. TAPA fulfills this mission through the development and implementation of internationally recognized security standards, industry best practices, technology, education, benchmarking, regulatory collaboration, and the proactive identification of cargo crime trends and emerging supply chain security threats.

To further this mission, the TAPA Americas Cargo Theft Research Grant Program sponsors applied research that addresses critical challenges facing the supply chain security industry. The program supports projects that generate evidence-based findings, practical tools, innovative technologies, and actionable frameworks that enhance cargo theft prevention, detection, investigation, and recovery.  Read More >>>
